Meet Gerry Grace, PhD.

Gerry Grace Ph.D, M.Div came to the US to pursue graduate studies in Psychology and Spirituality. He met his wife here, and San Antonio became his home for the last 25 years. His clinical specialty is in the arena of trauma and PTSD. Having worked and lead Intensive Treatment programs for returning active duty service members at BAMC he now conducts workshops, trainings and consultations for all behavioral health providers in trauma informed treatment modalities.

Dr. Graces’s modality of choice in his clinical practice is Internal Family Systems (IFS). This way of working holds a deep respect for the presence of a sacred and spiritual core within each person capable of bringing healing to suffering parts of the self. Welcoming Back Don Hanson


Don Hanson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience. He returns to St. Mark the Evangelist after a six-year hiatus in Tennessee. Don’s work arena includes church, criminal justice, governmental systems and private practice. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of mental health issues including alcohol/drug addiction, anger, trauma, PTSD, sexual abuse and addiction, anxiety, and depression. Don is bi-lingual and enjoys working with couples, adolescents, families, and groups.


He has a Doctorate in Moral Theology and was an adjunct professor philosophy, social work, and theology at Catholic Universities in San Antonio. Don will office on West Campus in building 14. For an appointment call 210-857-0760.

Introducing Kristina Dupre, MA, LPC


Kristina, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked as a therapist for the Methodist System’s Mental Health outpatient program. She has let workshops in corporate, educational, and behavioral health settings. Her message and vision are simple and impactful: emotional, environmental, and daily life stressors are silent killers which impact judgement, attack the immune system, and can be detrimental to our relationships.


Kristina has years of experience working with diverse populations in private and group settings. Her leadership skills and background include addressing a variety of mental health concerns including a long list of symptoms of mental and behavioral health illnesses.

She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and obtained her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University. Kristina will office on West Campus in building 14. For an appointment call 210-213-7715.

"Kick Anxiety to the Curb"


Six week series of group counseling sessions to manage and reduce anxiety. We will provide education, process groups, and coping strategies.

Dates: September 7-October 14, 2021

Tuesday and Thursday Afternoons 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Location: St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church West Campus, Building 14.

Price: $500 per person if paid in advance, $50 per person if paid by the session.
