Our Studying The Way Bible study ministry meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM when in session. Registration for our studies typically takes place during the summer, so please watch for bulletin announcements with specific details on our offerings.
Our studies feature a large group instructor-led format followed by small group breakout sessions facilitated by our dedicated team of table leaders. Weekly instructor-authored commentaries as well as other helpful resources are included with the studies.
Our parish is blessed with a rich love of studying God’s Word through various Bible study ministries. Studying the Way complements this wonderful tradition through the talents of instructor Gail Dereszewski. Gail, a long-time parishioner and very experienced Bible study instructor holds a Master of Theology degree from St. Mary’s University. Her passion for sharing how God has been present in her life and her love of God’s Word has created a strong desire to serve the people of St. Mark’s through this ministry which she considers a great privilege and blessing.
We humbly offer this guiding Scripture from Romans 15: 4-6. “For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ”.
